Big Bear,

I am confused. Yesterday I noticed the day of the shoot had been changed to Sept 4. Now it is back to Aug 28? Is this correct?

Newbi, I too feel that Richard is not a troll, hence the reason for this thread. I have read a few too many post where Richard was the "guilty one". And don't think it is fair. I've seen it in person where the new employee is the "guilty one" if something goes missing (persumed s...

Richard/falcon/trolls

I don't like trolls anymore then the rest of you folks. Falcon was obvious from the get go. Is Richard a troll? I don't know. Other than his intitial topic crossbow vs rifle, which to the uninformed could very well be a legitimate question, what other comments have been made to suggest that he is a ...

The geese are even moving around more! We better get some warmer weather again soon, before my patince wears thin. Although as a plus, with this weather getting me thinking more about hunting, I have started to make little tidbits at work during break or after hours. I've got a shooting rest (for th...

I chose the Exocet. A perfect balance of speed, power, size and cost. Almost forgot accuracy. Don't need anymore.

Falcon was caught! After he was caught, he was quickly dispatched. After being dispatched he had his feathers yanked out of him. His feathers were trimmed into shape. After being trimmed they were mounted on some 20" pieces of aluminum tubing. Then wouldn't you know it, he, his feathers anyways...

Todays weather....

Anyone else feel that nice crisp, cool air today. When I left the house this morning it seemed as though I should have been getting ready for the opening day of waterfowl instead of heading off to work. What a tease!!

Falcon, Falcon, Falcon..... I feel sorry for you. Not being able to stand your ground. If your buddies don't like you hunting with a crossbow hunt by yourself. If the recoil is bothering you you are really not concentrating on your target. Then again maybe I like recoil. Give me a .45-70 stuffed wit...

Confederate, I started off with the fibre-optics. Told myself I didn't need or want anything more. Recently I purchased a vari-zone. I didn't realize how accurate my Exocet was until the first outing with the scope on. If there is a deer fly on that deers' side, you can get the both of them at the s...

Carl, I have a pair of socks made from Merino wool. I wear them year round, wool actually keeps you both warm and cool. And for anyone who has yet to try Merino wool it is the most comfortable fabric I have worn. And after 3-4 years of weekly wear, my socks show no signs of wear. They are machine wa...

Guest, It seems as though you and I share the same desire to be prepared for anything. And if you are hunting solo it is not such a bad thing. Cell phones don't work everywhere. If you get into trouble you may have only yourself to rely on. If all you brought was your x-bow, bolts, and a few candy b...
