Re: Deer in Southern Ontario

Great winter for deer...however I saw many more coyotes this fall than I did deer. We need to get that dog population down.

Re: Cochran ontario

I grew up 100 km's in Kapuskasing...the blue grouse you are referring two were likely spruce grouse. They are a little smaller than a ruffed.

We just took a nice 3 year old bull during archery season 2 weeks ago with a 39" rack. It was a beauty.

Wow, I wish I was paying attention in the offseason...I would have dropped by to shoot targets and drink beer and not necessarily in that order :-)

Re: How Fast Can You Setup a Climber?

I've gone to my ladder stands for the predawn hunting and the climber for late afternoons. I can't imagine clunking around in the predawn bush with the climber. I make too much noise and take too long. Is there room on the shelf for another climber, Wabi? Dan O. I would consider purchasing th...

Re: Excalibur Satification???

I have a Maximus and I like it. Whats with all the hate. Excalibur did not invent the crossbow. It was a Chinese guy about 2000 years ago. The dislike is patent infringement by Chinese companies...end of story. I won't support it. China produces lower quality junk that fails or ends up recalled. Wh...

Re: Custom Triggers from Boo

I have 2 boo strings...to be honest, I have used the first one extensively and have taken 3 deer with it over 2 seasons...and the string keeps on ticking...Boo's strings have improved the performance of my crossbow noticeably I was unaware that boo did trigger adjustments...If the adjustments are an...

This woman is a typical zealot...I write off anything that comes out of her mouth. I will work as hard as I can to debunk her lies at any opportunity.

Re: Whats up in Southern ON?

Hunted 91B twice in the last 2 weeks...didn't see any deer while hunting but saw 2 fawns and 2 does when I was parking the truck at the barn.

Put stands up in 82A but haven't seen any deer.

Re: everyone please read..

Don't feel bad...it happened to me in the daylight right after I put on a top mounted quiver holder that obscured my view of the broadhead.

Good new is that I was wearing steel toes...the bad news was that I let it down far enough that the carbon bolt cracked...I was lucky that time...

All the best and fight on Sax.

Think of the wonderful experiences you have shared in the outdoors to this point and those that you have yet to experience.

I love the STS on my exomax. The most noticeable benefit is reduction of the vibration and it shoots quieter.

Re: Excalibur Waranty Information

Same here...I have NEVER experienced better customer service with anything I own. Excalibur has the best warranty of any product I have every purchased. I have broke things on my bow that were my own fault and have had Excalibur fix it and have me hunting the same day. If the warranty is what is hol...
