Could be a wax build up slowing down the bow. You get wax and dirt on the rail and it will slow you down a little.

Sorry to hear that Ray. I got real lucky when I married my wife. Her family owns 100 acres and I have the run of the place. Makes for a good marriage, she got her ring and I got a good place to hunt. Works for me.

Paradox/Maxpoint string

Does anyone happen to know what material is used to make the string for this bow. What kind of string is it?

I'm not sure how you can apply for a doe tag without buying your deer tag first.

Re: silencers

By trying to silence the bow your just beating the bush. Your arrow is louder than the smack of the string. If you don't believe it just stand safely out of the line of fire and listen to the arrow as it goes by. If they jump the string on a Excal you are shooting at the animal to far off, 40yds or...

Long shots

For those shooting 330 fps or more. Have you taken a 40 yard shot and if so did it result in a clean kill? I have always held to 30-35 yards as my max. but I have been shooting a Vixen or Phoenix and now I'm shooting a Maxpoint/Paradox so I'm considering 40 yards as my max. Thoughts?
