I'm sure you will have a better looking string on it before the weekend is over.

Saw that a while ago. I bet Bill didn't think his little bow that started out in a pig barn would make it to Hollywood one day. Maybe the head was made of real ice.

The Ace #1 was and is still my first gun. My grandfather gave it to me when I was 12. I love that little gun. It was very deadly on those Nova Scotia rabbits when I was a young hunter. There have been rumors of the odd deer taken with it long before it got into my hands.

I am reading this post with my dog Buddy sitting at my feet. We rescued him from the pound last Monday. He too was a stray that found his way into our home. As you know, there is an amazing calm that seems to come over the dog as it enters a loving home. It was great that he got to have a loving hom...

Just tried my new Boo string on Saturday at my friend's cottage. He has the exocet 200 and I have an older Exocet 175. He had the stock string that came with his right stuff package. I could hardly believe the difference in sound but the major difference was in vibration. All I can say is wow! I tha...

Just curious what the cost of such a weekend would be. If it's not crazy expensive my wife would be interested.

My wife is thinking of signing up. She has never been much into the outdoors but is curious to find out what it is that has such control over my thoughts when the various hunting seasons come up. I have a feeling the next excalibur lpurchase may be with her in mind.

Thanks for the post Vix.

I was just saying to a co-worker today that I had never actually heard of anyone we knew winning anything more than a coffee or doughnut. I guess I have something to tell tomorrow.

Congrats!

If you want to see all the Excal lineup, the guys from excal will be at the sportsman show this week at the Ex. They will be showing off all their models.

Good luck in your search and welcome to the family.

That one would make the calmest hunter shake. I for one would have some great difficulty getting my bow to stay still long enough for the shot.

Great looking mount.

I'm sure that you like me have thought about why me when things like this happen but being given a second chance is one of those miracles of life. I know that we will live each day to its fullest and love those in our lives that much more. I for one thank God for each day that I have. This forum has...

One year ago today.

It was March 6th, 2007, when I was involved in a snowmobile accident that left me without the use of my right arm. It has been a struggle to say the least. One of the first things I worried, after the reality of the loss of use in my right arm had sunk in, was what am I going to do about hunting. I ...
