Re: Air brakes question

It looks like the one that is touching the limb has the two long bolts screwed in further causing it to be pulled down more.

Air brakes problem???

When the bow is cocked should the large rubber pad be touching the limb? Just noticed when mine is cocked one is touching the limb and the other is about 1/16" off the limb. I believe it's an easy adjustment using the 2 longer bolts closest to the foot stirrup. I'm just not sure which one to ad...

Ok thanks. If anyone has a pic of this I would appreciate if you posted it. I have the air brakes on mine so would I still be able to tell what I have?

Re: Widow Maker 350SE

I love the feel of the 200# Vortex and think the new M350 SE (with its destressed limb mounting) may well be the new Vortex. I bet it'll be a good match of smoothness, easy cocking and accuracy. Though the new limb mounting reduces speed, the benefits likely outweigh that loss. Now, you just need t...

My hooks go under the string and face up. You can make sure that they are connected the correct way when they face up.

Re: ditching blazers

I use the Arizona EZ fletch with blazer vanes and have made many dozens of arrows with no issues. I clean the shaft and base of the vane with Acetone and use Gorilla glue blue cap impact resistant glue. I also rub some string wax on the clamp where the vane sits. This keeps the glue from bonding the...

Re: Spare Limbs as a backup

Thanks Anthony. I dont know if I want a spare set or another Excal as a back up lol. I have been wanting to go back in time and buy a Vortex or Exocet just for the extreme dependability of them.

One more question. I have a bunch of the 1 3/8" Grim Reaper razortips and those open easily by hand. Does anyone rubber band them for crossbow use?
