My last renewal I got someone else's card! When I called, they had the nerve to tell me to look again, they don't make those kinds of mistakes! I said lady, that's not my god damn picture on it, I look in the mirror once a day, I know what I look like!
As Red Foreman says, DUMB ASS!

I'm going on Wednesday to Gore Bay area. I found a place with an opening for rifle so the wife is coming with the kids as well. They're going to set up in a ground blind with my camera, tripod and telephoto lens. My telephoto is made by Nikon and it's attached to a Remmy 700 stainless re-chambered t...

Lately, it's been just paying attention to what's going on around me. Watching Jays, squirrels, rabbits, coons etc.. That's after I drink a Red Bull. You see, I've been forced onto shift for the last 8 months, and a shift electrician develops a switch in his butt, and it's instant sleep mode. Not re...

I don't know who's is best between desertrat and apple orchard... Anyways, I would put money on the guy who gave you grief, he's really being a A-hole. My buddy out near Espanola has some similiar issues with Metis hunting moose on his property. He caught them with a bull just off his property, but ...

Went out today to see how the Grizz Tricks shoot. They shot perfect! They were two inches higher than my last heads, so I tweaked them down and all in the 3 inch black circles out to 50 yards. The two small problems now is that they are extremely hard on the target. There is parts of my block at eve...

I can relate so well. I am not afforded the opportunity to hunt deer as often as you guys since they're not that plentiful around here unless you travel. But, I am a die hard moose hunter, and I did the same thing last season. I had no adult tags, but I did see a calf by herself. I watched for what ...

When I hunted in Kemptville a few years back, I was introduced to a fitness finatic who's only goal was to hunt big big deer. His smallest rack is 10 points and all come from the swamp. He uses chest waders to carry his gear in, changes out and heads for his stand, morning and night. He said it's a ...

grizz tricks came in
I ordered some goodies from Lancaster Archery. I ordered a pack of 100gr 1 1/4" Grizz Tricks, some 50gr brass screw in weights and the long hex head tool to screw them into my inserts. Since I was using a 145gr BH before, I wanted the same weight up front so after talking to Gold Tip I ordered ...

Wow, that's a big doe. I'm jealous, after my week on the Island, there's no more deer hunting for me. I'd have to drive 2 hours each way to keep hunting, or stay in a motel. Too much cost. We have a fair amount of moose, but in our area there's no tags allocated to archers so you're in the same pool...

Those pics are done up on adobe acrobat. I saw the exact, exact same ones last year but with different guys in them. One of the guys at work is a wiz with adobe, and he took one of my black bear pics and made the bear look to weigh about 1500 lbs. Polar bears go 1800lbs, then it's Kodiaks at 1500lbs...

Although I haven't been on the forum long, when things like this happen, I don't feel that I should write anything since I don't know what to say, especially coming from someone who you don't know. This is an occasion where I feel especially terrible for what you're going through and will pray for K...
