lube rail every 5 shots?

thats what the guy at the local proshop told me to do. my serving busted on my new 10 pt after around 300 shots. i dont reall on the dvd that every 5th shot to lube the rail. another guy told me to use wax(string) on the rail. aaww--so much new stuff to learn.

you can shoot them thru the mesh as long as they do not have the "L" shaped blades. they will hang up on the mesh. rocket steelheads and RM snypers will both work.

anybody use quik spins on bolts?

i just ordered 2 dozen--1 doz w/ 4 inch and 1 doz w/ 2.25 vanes. the "pro shop" convinced me to use the shorter qs for hunting w/ expand broadheads.

thanks dave. my horton do fly like crap. im not sure if its because that they have the moon nocks and not the flat nocks. i will be using rocket heads so i think that i will stick with the 4 inch vane.

i have some 2219's w/ 4 inch vanes. i aslo have a dozen horton bolts that have 5 inch vanes. any preference out there? i refletch all my arrows(when i bowhunted anyway). i was going to do the same for my bolts. thanks

i was wondering if there were any other quiver options beside the bow quiver? this is for hunting/treestand hunting only. im new to this so any good info would be appreciated. oh--i have a 10 pt xbow if it matters.
