Re: Final Prep: Sighting In W/Bolts & Broadheads?

All my arrows come from Big John. To date, now counting into the dozens, I have NEVER had a Flyer. They simply Shoot Very Well. I do test each one with field points, and NEVER aim at the same bullseye (for obvious reasons!). When it comes time to test broadheads, I pick up one extra package of three...

Re: exomax

My Exomax went to my Hunting Partner, and so very much remains " In the Family ". And I still shoot it from time to time. And it is nice to know it is there in the very off chance I ever need a back-up. Interestingly, he can match my 380 right to 100 yards with that bow pretty well every t...

Re: BRAND NEW!

... Damn that elk in you're pick is amazing, where was that? That's actually a Barren Ground Caribou - one from the Porcupine Herd that is (they range between the Alaskan National Wildlife Refuge - aka ANWR - and the Yukon). That one was taken on the Yukon North Slope when we lived up there. Here's...

Re: Question on what would you pay for vanes

... I am looking at a vane that would give you better accuracy from 60 and well beyond (100 yards) but the price is about twice that of a Blazer. Opinions? Hell Yeah!! If these vanes can actually improve things to the point you are suggesting Boo, I would be more than interested! Of course I''d hav...

OT: Big News!

For my Lady & I.
We submitted an offer on a home here in Port Alberni over the weekend.
It was just accepted.
For the first time in our lives we will actually own the roof over our heads!

We are SUPER HAPPY!!! :D

Re: Meat grinders

...While not real familiar with failure rates ,after many reviews over the course of my research into grinders ,a Cabala's model burning up I've not seen any mention of. Very Rare I would think! That said we cooked one of the same units Boo had - my Partner ran a 130 grain Nosler Partition through ...

For those who are shooting long range targets with the bow they hunt with, you can use a 20" arrow.

Looking Great Big Buddy! http://bigshotsbc.ca/images/smilies/Pozitive.gif One of these years I am simply going to have to wander over for a visit to that office! That will require traveling pretty well all the way across Canada, but certainly would be worth the effort in my humble opinion!! E...
