I don't see why any broadhead would not work. Always chose one that you are comfortable with, and flies where you expect it to.

Is the string good for carved tips as well as molded?

If it is good for carved tips I'm in, but I don't want to take it from someone if it is for molded tips only.

It will also depend where you are. Some states/provinces will have different takes on this.
