Bushnell Trail Camera

Is anyone familiar with the Bushnell Trailscout Pro model, the one with "night vision? It has a standard flash, but also an alternate UV led flash to make it invisible to game and potential thieves.

It sounds interesting, but before I buy I'd like to hear other's experience with it.

It's nice to see BillT posting on here!

When the manufacturer steps in and offers advice, that's someone to listen to!

Hmmmm. Did Bill Ruger do that? Weatherby? (OK, they died before we got to use the internet like we do today, but it's not very likely they would have done it.)

According to my rigger's manual that knot is also known as a triple sliding hitch. It is imperative that the load be applied to the bottom line and that the top free end be at least 2 feet long. Gerard I'm not clear what you mean by "the top free end be at least 2 feet long". I thought th...

I'll post a differing view. The suggestions offered as far as who to appoint as moderators doesn't bother me. They are good guys. I just don't see the need to bother the Excalibur people about a virtually non existent problem. We have so little spam and spam posted here. We pretty much self regulate...

Maybe it's the largest freshwater CATFISH, but it's not the largest freshwater FISH. Sturgeon can get much larger.

Your post got me thinking a bit more about that product. Who makes it? What is the normal retail?

Thanks.

The Series II has a larger cutting diameter. They make a big hole and an excellent exit wound making for a good blood trail. Here is what I use to sharpen my heads. It is completely adjustable to match almost any type of hunting head. With a little practice you can get the blades much sharper than ...

Some of the guys here probably don't agree with me on this, but here's my $.02. For the cheapest and most effective noise reduction, I suggest you wear ear plugs. :D :D Here's why: the speed of your bolt is LESS than the speed of sound, so you won't gain much by a PARTIAL sound reduction. The deer i...

Heck, Particle, when I'm sitting in my tree stand just waiting and relaxing, I think about the good times fishing. So, just to be fair, when I'm trolling and nothing is biting, I think about hunting. In fact, I put my hunting clothes in a loose weave bag and drag it behind the boat. No more soap sme...
