Re: swhackers?

We used them this year with no complaints. We used the 1.75". Very happy with the penetration and performance. We harvested a total of 8 deer.

Re: An explanation of the Triggertech's trigger

Well, I've been very busy. Cancelled my m405 order and decided to keep my M380. I want a bow I can shoot for fun in my back yard and 3d and hunt. The 405 just doesn't seem to be the bow to do ALL those things for me right now. I may buy one as my heavy hitting hunting bow and keep my M380 for plink...

Re: HHA Optimizers Scope Dial-????

I like the HHA a lot. The reason I went to it was so I could use a single reticle scope and get rid of the clutter. With a family of 5 that uses 2 crossbows it was too confusing with multi-reticle scopes. Dial the HHA to the distance and you are ready to go. You could use a mult-reticle scope to do ...

Re: HHA Optimizers Scope Dial-????

Yes it will work on the 380. I had to use the extension that extends the dial out to the side a little more. Works well.

Re: How do you find your arrow after the shot?

In my experience the arrow tends to go farther along the ground especially if shot from a low angle. I have seen arrows travel quite a distance beyond where they first contacted the ground. I think a lot of times they must kinda skip along the ground. I try to look at least 50 yards beyond where I t...

I have the 380 and don't regret it one bit. Honestly you couldn't go wrong with either one.

Re: Have you ever cocked the Matrix 380 manually?

I have new admiration for Neil (one shot scott) and cspot, it shows what a refined technique they have developed. I know I couldn't cock the 380 with my hands and it got caught in the ADF and left me in a pickle without the rope cocking aid to assist during a Hog hunt down at Awshucks place last Fe...

Re: Have you ever cocked the Matrix 380 manually?

I can cock the 380 by hand, but it is not something I recommend and would not want to do it very much. The string will leave some marks on your hand. I use the rope cocker.

Last Day Success

Not really a big story on this buck. My season goals had been fulfilled already with the kids finding a lot of success deer hunting with the crossbow. I didn't have any luck last week when I was on vacation and really only had one good day of buck activity. At about 7:25 this morning I caught moveme...

Colton Scores!!!

First off what a beautiful day to be in the woods. It got a little windy in the afternoon, but it was pretty much a perfect day weather wise. The morning was nice and cool and so was the action. We didn't see a deer until late morning and that was a quick glimpse of 2 deer way above our stand. From ...

A doe for Colton

Colton hasn't had as much luck this season as his sisters. He has been close, but it just has never worked out. This morning however he was able to get this doe. It came in right after daylight and he made the shot count.
