Re: 380 R.E.D.S
Really surprised they are a warranty item. They must be taken a pounding from the string. The same thing will probably happen to the new set of pads they send unless the rubber they are made out of is of a better quality.

Re: X act broadhead won't open!
Thought this type of broad head opened as it passed through the animal producing a large exit wound. Not sure if foam or cardboard would be a good test media. I would however expect a rage / killzone type rear deploying broadhead to fully open at the entrance point.

Re: Hanging It Up
Get a disabled hunters permit. Got this from the Wisconsin 2012 deer hunting regulations. Bows, arrows, and crossbows •Crossbows and bow and arrows may be used by any person hunting under the authority of a gun deer license during any firearm (i.e., Gun Deer or Muzzleloader) deer season. •When hunt...

Re: All over at 30 yards!
Shoot an arrow, observe the impact then shoot it again but this time use a different vane as a "cock vane" down in the rail. Observe the impact again. Now shoot it again but use the one vane you have not used as a cock vane and observe the impact. The arrow will probably impact differently...

Re: Shorten a painful learning curve + SOLUTIONS ADDED
Just installed the torx screws tonight and found out my scope was loose on the the scope mount. Apparently I did not do such a good job as I had thought when I switched over to Warne steel rings for my Leupold shotgun scope. Fortunately all is good now and I am confident my Vortex wil...

Re: Kwikee Quiver Bracket
FYI I just tried the Excalibur dove tail quiver mount on the Kwikee lag screw mount pictured in shooter00 post and it fit perfectly. I like it a lot better with the Excalibur dovetail. Going to have to get a few extra ones, I always take the quiver off the bow when tree stand hunting.

Re: Kwikee Quiver Bracket
I use that exact kwikee bracket with a lag screw that I screw into the tree and the Excalibur quiver fits it no problem. It is not the best fit but it holds the quiver nicely. Just make sure you keep the kwikee bracket up and slide the quiver down into it. The red spring clip does not engage the qui...
