After extensive testing this morning, I will be hunting with 150 grain slick tricks on 20" gold tip laser 3 shafts with 2" aero vanes which I fletch myself and with the firenock system installed. They flew like field point for me...could not get the 100 grain tricks to shoot that well...I...

150 grain Slick Trick Crossbow tricks with Easton firebolts and aluminum insert. Plan on moving up to Black Eagle Executioner .001's with lock n load inserts and 100 or 125 grain Slick Trick mags for this year.

I got one on my Vortex and love it. I do not want to shoot the bow off hand without it. Lets you pull the bow into your shoulder for a nice steady shot. Folds into riser for easy cocking.

The bow looks well made. Should be a big seller. I think I am going to have to a get one. My biggest concern is how well is the serving going to hold up under that poundage. It seems to be the weakest link.

I have a bad shoulder and the Tac Pac and love it. Never even shot the bow without the Tac Pac installed. Get it you will like it. You can pull the bow into your shoulder which I feel helps you aim and hold steady. Tac Pac flips in towards riser out of the way to make cocking the bow easy. Would not...

Your going to love your Vortex. After taking a couple deer this past season I realize why Excalibur calls the arrows they sell Firebolts! Good luck with your new bow.

Go to the instructional video section of the home page and click on the bolt cutter broadhead video. You need to increase the front of center of your arrows to get fixed blade heads to fly accurately. I shoot 150 grain slick trick Xbow trick heads out of my Vortex with firebolts and they fly like fi...

You will get another 10 to 15 fps if you swap out the factory string for a flemish string.

Do not use the rail lube it is not needed and makes your serving seperate extremely fast
