Scope
I was just checking out if a Tact Zone scope was still zeroed when I thought of something that I always check on rifle scopes, but never did on the crossbow scopes. While looking through the scope and nodding "yes" (up and down), and then "no" (side to side), the crosshairs moved...

Re: Vixenmaster-is Mike still around?
I was wondering about Mike also since he hasn't been on here in a while and was hoping that nothing bad had happened to him, glad to hear an update on him.

Whoever thought of putting shoulder straps on a jock strap will probably end up being a multi-millionaire, it's too bright, Is it available in camo?

Re: Restringing aid slipping.
Instead of using just a simple overhand knot on the stringing aid, you could try using a figure 8 knot.

Re: Any new hunting products?
+2 on the muff, I've been using one with disposable handwarmers in it for quite a while, definitely one of the best things that I ever added to my cold weather hunting gear.

Re: The "Killing Tree"
Similar thing happened to my gun stand, a big heavy branch came straight out from a huge pine near the base of a ridge that had what looked like another pine growing straight up at the end of it, there was another big old branch that broke off and formed like a saddle to sit on and then rest my feet...

I'm 75 and hunt with a Matrix 380, I have 2 of them, I would stick with an Excalibur! Find an Excalibur you like, the odds are if something were to happen to it you wouldn't be out of commission for a couple of weeks or more like the Ravin owner. I would also consider keeping the Equinox, that way y...

Re: Smoke em!
Hope they turn out well for you. We fish for American Shad in a local river, the old saying is to nail them to an oak plank, cook them. then throw the fish away and eat the plank! One day I ran into a guy who said to bring him some, and that he smokes them and that they are delicious, ok, why not, a...

Re: Wild Game Cooking
WOW, that is one heck of a set up your friend has there! At one time we had the use of a butcher shop on a farm when a buddy married the farmer's daughter, I don't think he had a smoker though, if he did we didn't use it, one thing I found interesting is the hot and cold water bath after smoking. Ev...
