ComfyBear... I really appreciated your results on string testing. Different weights apperently do make a big difference. Also I'm thinking the "wind resistance" of those wiskers also made a difference. Manufactures make different products for different tastes, and uses. I can shoot my Max ...

Welcome to the Forum. I would not shoot my Exomax over 30 Yards at a deer. so that is the only Yardage i am cocerned with, at 30 yards i am deadly with my Exomax, allso very confident that i can get a good ethical Kill shot on the animal. This is all my own Personal preferences. But i want to make ...

Shot this little doe around 7:45 this morning. The slick tricks did thier job. Double lung and heart shot left a blood trail Stevie Wonder could follow. Didn't reall need the trail though. She only went about 20 to 30 yards. Keep in mind she's not as small as she looks in the picture... cause I'm 6'...

Well my long day didn't pay off with a doe. But I did learn a few things about my location and my setup/equipment. So all is not lost... we're going to do it again on Monday!

Some folks are lazy hunters. By staying in this stand now, I've got a shot at the ones they kick out walking to their spot this afternoon. Saw a couple deer but haven't got a shot off yet. Definitely a good spot. Also just saw an eight point while typing this message.

An old army trick I learned back in basic is let your eyes adjust. Do this by exiting any light condition and just sit and let the pupils relax. After a few minutes your night sight will appear and with a half decent moon you will be able to walk before day break with little problem. Another trick ...
