I just got a call from the mail order place, they said the exomax is out of stock . Not a big problem really, they are expecting a new shipment at the end of the week. Is it the Excalibur crossbows in particular, or just crossbows in general that are such hot sellers

A one and one-eighth inch brace height gives the best velocity, from what I've read.

PSE Xbows seem to have a decent record as far as quality (they're one of the smaller crossbow manufacturers). The Vipor Copperhead is probably in the same class as the Excalibur Vixen as far as power goes, or close to the Vixen anyway. As many of this forum's members swear by the Vixen for everythin...

Guys, this is a stupid question, but instead of wondering.....Ill ask... do you all put sharp broadheads on your bolts? or can I still get a kill with the standard "Bullet" shaped head. - or do I need to get longer bolts (arrows) and put on the archary "sharp" heads? uhhh... do ...
