Re: My Shotgun Buck
It was a 100 yard shot. I was using 3 inch federal sabot slugs out of a rifled barrel. I believe Federal uses Barnes bullets. The reason for no blood trail was the stomach plugged the entrance wound and the bullet lodged somewhere in his neck. Certainly no text book shot. I can only think that he dr...

My Shotgun Buck
Late season shotgun hunt in Norwich. The week started slow as we had a lot of rain on Monday and Tuesday. Our group only managed a small button buck over the first three days. Finally our luck started to change on Thursday. We had a young man with us who had just returned from Afganistan and had nev...

Re: c2 crank for crossbow
I only have the use of my left hand. Unfortunately the Crank-a-roo only has the crank on the right side but when I use mine, I just turn the bow around and crank backwards. It felt awkward at first but it will soon be second nature.

Re: Ontario antlerless deer draw results are in folks...Q
Bow hunting is pretty much a guarantee in Southern Ontario. I have never missed getting an antlerless tag for bow season.

Re: bill.t question
I'm not sure about a favorite but there has been 4 models of the 175 lb bow, three of which are currently in production. I would have to say the people at Excalibur believe in that poundage bow.

Phoenix
Ibex

Hitting an insert and fieldpoint lost in the target may cause damage.

Hey Bud,
Just came accross this thread and thought I would say happy (very) belated birthday. You are going to have to keep us updated on how it feels to be that old.

Drought is over!
After 8 long years, I finally put another arrow through a deer. Not quite as long as the 16 year gap between deer number one and two. Anyway if I I keep up at this rate, I will be getting one a day by the time I turn 80. Got out to the stand at 6 am this morning and was quite comfortable, wind could...

I just can't help but think that would be a lot of work for a guy with one hand.
