Re: Middleton bow
Still one left with limbs is amazing. Everyone I know have no limbs for their Middleton bows. But he was one of the pioneers of coming out with small bullpup bows. Even appears to be in my home town.

Have my custom 115lb/90lb cut down Vixen is all I ever shoot. Custom Vixen set at 115lb is my go to bow for 3D. Bow set for 90lb now for indoor target shooting for winter. Two complete front ends, one strait riser and one forward riser. Two matching Hawke scopes. Can change it back and forth and it ...

Re: Norms Custom Arrow builds
Cool. Always nice to have hobbies to stay busy.
At 60 years old with glasses I will never be a competitive Archer so I don't take to much care with my arrows anymore. As long as they are not flyers I am happy.

Re: Just had a visit from the MNR
Free pork......HMMMM Hunting seven or eight years ago a big Elk came strolling by my ground blind. Phoned Ministry and they could not care about less about it. Always though because of their response if I seen it again it would be quartered up, dragged out for my dinner plate. Never seem it again bu...

Re: Gunther the Escape Artist
My dogs loved their crates. They would have the option of outside and have big fenced in yard with garage with dogloo's and music playing or upstairs in their crates. Mostly they would pick the crates upstairs. If I forgot to lock the door on crate they would howl to get my attention to lock the doo...

Re: Who Misses The Old Bows
Still shoot a Pheonix and a rail shortened Vixen. 90lbs with a strait riser then change to matching scope and bolt forward riser on and becomes 115lbs. Only 2 crossbows I own these days but I am ok with it. What I would be more interested in would be an even lighter Excalibur around 40 - 50lbs for a...

Re: *Update Upsetting Christmas Day and now a second one
Just not the same shooting in my big fenced in yard anymore. No dogs to tell "get away from the targets" every 2 minutes. To big of fence yard, garage with extra dogloo and music playing 24/7 and to much love not to share with another rambunctious beagle. :) Brightside is without my ...

Had my oldest Beagle that I got from Dutchhunter on this forum die at 12 years old. Two dogs six months apart. Keeping Ash's and got a stone coming for my little buddy that deserve a fitting tribute. This dogs hurts. Beagle/Jack Russel is the middle age dog. Hope he hangs on for a few good years yet...

Good looking dog!
Lost my Bloodhound in Feb. Still have my purebred Beagle and Beagle/Jack Russel. When them two are gone all I want is a "Pocket Beagle." Small dog I can take anywhere.

Re: O/T favorite hunting caliber
If I could only keep one gun it definitely would be my .243. Light shells for varmints and heavy shells for deer. Been using it for years as my only deer rifle. But for varmints I usually take one of my .22 mag because of cost factor. Expensive sport now and glad I jumped down the rabbit hole of pel...

Re: Phoenix / Leupold
My Phoenix I run a Hawke XB1 SR crossbow scope. Lines up to 100 yard on the tens. Have two other same scopes for my 115/90 lb Excalibur that I switch front end and scope to change poundage and they both line up on the fives out to 60 yards. They just work so well for the shooting I do. Sold a lot of...
