Re: Piece of my Excalibur equiptment I hate the most.
that's why i went with a top mount quiver I would too, but that would not rid me of the problem of arrows sliding down out of the quiver while still knocked in its slot. Had it happen to me again tonight and almost got a broad head in the back of the arm when I went to put the sling on my shoulder....

Re: Piece of my Excalibur equiptment I hate the most.
Why not buy a Rancho Safari Cat quiver and mount it to your bow? They make a small one. I had not seen that one when I searched for a different one, and it is getting closer to what I am looking for, but still not enough that it completely surrounds the arrows for I pack them in the bag or a backpa...

Piece of my Excalibur equiptment I hate the most.
I must confess I love my bow Yes, I know it is too wide to walk through the corn with, or close to any brush if I don't want it to get snagged, and I know there are things that need to be changed on the padded case, but those things I can live with. However, the one thing that annoys me each and eve...

Cemetery Bucks in the Fall
. Some pictures from last Sunday. I stopped by the cemetery to see how the deer were doing and they were all over! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hut5bLenIaI/TqR6dMVWppI/AAAAAAAABzk/fASGNirt9LI/s640/DSCF4251.JPG https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XfY16sngBBo/TqR6ewgH6pI/AAAAAAAABzo/-SZOhAXKtvg/s...

Re: Summertime in the Cemetery - Many pics
The cemetery is quite a large chunk of land surrounded on 2 sides by busy road, one side by subdivision, and the last side by the Thames River which has a wooded ravine with walkways and parks. These deer appear to have traveled into the city along the river and found a nice place to live with no hu...

Summertime in the Cemetery - Many pics
. You may remember back in the late winter/early spring when I posted a bunch of pictures of a cemetery in town here that was chalked full of deer. Well, end of last week I had some time on my hands so I thought I would stop by and see how the deer were doing, and if they were spending the summer in...

COUNT ME IN!
I would like to win something for once. Last thing I won was a Caribbean cruise for two from a woodworking show at the Hamilton air museum a couple of years back - no lie.
Problem was - - I was 17 at the time and too young to claim it!!

Nest on the ground, and if it is a wet rainy spring it can kill their young. 12 or so eggs in each nest.Raymond wrote:Where do they have their young, is it on the ground or in trees?

Tye, I remember way back in the day you used to post non stop on almost every topic, and each post was usually good enough for a laugh!
The forum seemed to be busier back then too, with lots of good stories and discussion to read and learn from.

GaryM This is a spam thread! But since you already posted on it... I had never heard of Cairo Ill, but you got me interested enough to look it up - wow, lots of history but it is a dump! Save the farmland and let the abandoned buildings and wreckage be washed away. Has to hurt farmers when t...

That was cool! Almost seemed like he needed something just a little bit faster for some of those shots - perhaps a Browning M2 would have worked better?
That was a great film.
