Who has a GoPro?

And how many ways do you use it? Dave and I are giving each other GoPros for Christmas......(He doesn't know it yet.) His is the Black Hero 3 and mine is the Silver Hero 3+. We will both be using it for hunting and fishing. We also got some of the accessories (from the kids, they just found out) :lo...

Re: ramcat broadheads

Ramcats are not quiver-friendly. They do a GREAT job on animals tho. I have to snap mine in BEFORE easing them into the quiver carefully or I'll bend the tips of the blades.

Re: Shoot through mesh?

Thanks David!! For the first time, I gathered the courage to shoot through the mesh this year based on what your experiences were.

My arrow hit exactly where I aimed and recovery was only 40 yards. I'm a believer! :D

Re: Bear?

Most of the time they just leave once they realize you're in there. Low noise will send him running. I wouldn't try to startle a bear if you know what I mean.

If you have a crazy one, an air horn would work as well as bear spray and safer for you too. :D

Re: unexplainably strange

I studied both photos and it looked like the sparkle was the same kind of light reflection coming from the ground clutter in the middle. If I made a story out of the two......whatever animal(s) is in the first pic moved behind those trees and suddenly created a disturbance in the ground clutter (whe...

Re: Crossbow for the whole family?

You will not be disappointed in the Vixen II. If, for some reason, you think you need a bigger bow, you won't be able to part with the Vixen. All the Excaliburs are great, but the Vixen is your go-to bow for comfortable hunting.
