Re: Another TV personality caught poaching
A true scumbag, and should have received a much harsher sentence. Not only does he own wild game nations, but many other companies in the outdoor world and one that you all will know is Plano , Plano. Frabill is another and there are many more. I will not buy from any of his companies until I hear h...

Re: Arrow and Bow combinations of forum members
I have a grizzly cub, shooting the stock arrows it comes with and a 150 wensel woodsman, shot a deer the other day, first with the crossbow and at 30 yards, complete pass through and left the broadhead in the tree, took the arrow. I also use 2219 cut to 17 in with alum flat nock and a woodsman 150 g...

Re: A true light weight portable ladder stand
I found some of the old loc on Titan stands. 10 ft and weigh nothing. Not sure why they stopped making them but I would think someone would start making them again.

Arrow setup?
I put together some new bolts and just looking to see if anybody sees a problem with the set up. Shooting a grizzly cub with the matrix string, have some 2219 lites cut to 17 inch, shaft by itself is 183 gr. don't have a scale but I figure with insert and aluminium flat nock and blazer vanes add ano...

Just a thought, that guy who advertises on TV that rubber dip solution, the name escapes me currently but that seems like it would work well.

Re: Rage vs. Boltcutters
I know more guys who have used the rage and lost animals with them failing to do the job. I have always wondered why everyone is trying to use the smallest BH possible, I use a wensel woodsman 150 gr and they fly like darts. No need to mess with heavy adapters etc... Looking forward to using my cub ...

Re: rain and deer
A light steady rain makes deer feel at ease. Hard rain tends to put them down, I think the noise level keeps them on guard and they sit tight. But, just like us, we can play in a light rain but when it pours we hold up too.

Re: Quivers. On or off or other?
I have a side quiver that I attach yo my back pack. I figure with the quiver off my noise level would be lower, plus less things to see moving.

Re: Those with the grizzly what is your set up?
2219's cut to 17 in, aluminium flat Nick with a 5 blade razorback broadhead with blazer vanes. Total weight is 455 and I can hit a golf ball at fifty yards with the stock 3 dot scope my grizzly cub came with. I have a matrix string and a vixen string and the 2219's hit just a tad lower than the stoc...

Re: 2017 Deer Season Changes
Thankfully I don't live in Texas because I would never go hunting. I don't see how they hunt in that hot weather, I need it to be in the 60's at the minimum to sit in the woods.
