Excalibur Crossbow Forum

Are all broadheads and field points the same thread pitch, when they talk about 11/32 ect... is that the diameter of the field point or broadhead and if your arrow is a 11/32 are you then required to buy 11/32 broadheads or fieldpoints.

shooting 413 grains, gt laser 2, 100 grains field points.brass inserts, 2" group at 50 yards with slight wind, about 300 fps. new to this bow hunting so invested alot of time checking what the experts had to say. like boo said, if you have confidence in your equipement you will shoot accordingly.

i am hoping someone will be able to recommend a good small game broadhead. I have heard there is a broadhead that will spring the arrow straight in the air after hitting the ground, is there such a thing. I will be mainly hunting game birds, grouse, ducks ect. Just bought a vortex, was wondering what are the advantages to having a cheek piece installed. is it to keep the xbow more level or just more comfortable feeling. I am new to bow hunting so any help would be apprectiated.
