Great store and great staff.
I bought my Matthews there and they definitely know what they are doing and take the time to make sure you get what you want.

recurve
Looking at getting a recurve to play around with and hopefully take a deer with it someday. I was looking at the Bear lineup and like the feel of the Grizzly and Super Grizzly. Any feed back good or bad would be appreciated. Also the minimum poundage for hunting here in NS is 40#. I was looking at 5...

New Hunting Area
Nova Scotia. That's all I've narrowed it down to so far. Still looking for a house with a good chunk of land. Just wanted to let all my friends here know that I have moved back to Nova Scotia. I'm going to miss the thunder chickens of the spring and Ontario Monster Whitetails, however, I will not be...

Re: Foiled break in attempt.
Glad to hear it Chris. He sure does grab your attention when he barks  . I was thinking about it after you texted me the other day and it was also about the right time for some one stumbling home from the bar to mistake your house for another. I'm not trying to downplay it, but it just occure...

Re: Deer Hunting Books
Bow Hunting Forests and Deep Woods, by Greg Miller. Great read and very helpful for anyone who doesn't hunt farm land or food plots.

Gun Registry
Just curious as to where this sits. Last thing I heard was that the Conservatives were introducing the bill, but has it passed, is there light at the end of the tunnel???

More Pics
Found these two pictures while I was going through my files. I have always found it amazing how people can know one animal from the next by slight facial or other features. This one was easy. I first noticed this doe fawn last year by her white ear patches. She showed up again in the same area this ...

Re: Post Season Pics
Raymond,
I'm sitting next to a Cape Bretoner and she agrees, Cape Breton is NOT part of NS .
The cameras are only 2-3km from Sydney but you never hear of any in town encounters.
PS Had some Wedgeport lobsters at Christmas. Awesome!!!

Re: Post Season Pics
I probably won't still be in Cape Breton next fall, but it is still fun to keep the cameras out and do a little post season scouting. If for nothing else, but to find a shed or two.

Post Season Pics
Here are a few pictures I got over the Christmas break. Season ended here the first week of December, so it was good to see some nice ones that made it through. The picture of the yote "head on" looks like he may have a bit of wolf in him. What do you think??? http://www.hunt101.com/data/5...
