Re: Going without.........
I hunted for a while without a scope on my first Phoenix and used the factory fiber optic sights. Killed several with it that way as a matter of fact. But as I get older my eye sight is not what it used to be so I am using a scope now. I got a barska 3 dot illuminated scope (not a red dot) and love ...

Re: Been a good day... got two
Filling the freezer early this season! Congratulations. Last time after I shot two deer on the same hunt after the night of processing I said "never again". But then again never say never :D I just might  I guess I'm making up for last season when I didn't kill anything. I ha...

Throphy Ridge two blade MeetSeekers (Graphic pictures)
I have been using the Trophy Ridge 100 grain 2 blade MeetSeeker this season and I have to say I like’em. I have not used a broadhead before that can take the punishment that these heads have. In the picture the four on the left have been used to take four does this season. The one on the right is ne...

Been a good day... got two
Got a small doe this morning around 10:30 at 8 yards. I had a little time this afternoon before dark and went back. Hadn't been there more than 2 minuets and had a doe walk straight in and stop broadside at 21 yards. I didn't get pictures of the first one this morning but got one of the doe this eve...

Re: Fletching Comparison Testing
Just wondering if the Norway Xeon Fusion vanes were as visible in flight as they advertize or was there no difference as far as visibilit but I see that you went into that on your post so never mind.

Learned something new today.
I learned something new today, my laser range finder doesn't work worth spit in a light fog. I cahnged strings on my Phoenix last night and went outside this morning to make sure that it was still hitting point of aim. I set the target up at 10 yards and took a reading on my range finder. Af...

Re: I guess thieves are beginning to rut...
I was sitting in my stand this evening before dark and a young man dressed in a brown stripped button up, blue jeans and bow in had walked out of the woods 40 yards away. When I hollored at him to see if he had permission to hunt this property he tried to tell me he was looking for the boundery line...

Serving crossbow string
Does anyone have any plans or diagrams (pictures would be helpful) on how to build a string holder for serving a crossbow string.

Re: I need to vent!!
Two foot hole with a 330 conibear beaver trap laid sideways in it. Won’t kill him but you won’t have any trouble identifying him with a broken leg...and before you ask, yes I know for a fact that it will work.
