You mean we're supposed to take them down?!?! I've been hunting private farm land for 17 yrs and none of my stands have ever gone missing. (Watch, now that I've said this, I'll "lose" 2 or 3 this year  ) I'll be going out in the next couple of weeks to inspect for dammage and ...

The black hills ammo is pretty hard to come by up here (unless it's smuggled in). I've heard some pretty good things about it though. Is that your LR coyote/ground squirrel rig?

Nice setup Huntin1. Beautiful country as well. One of my 5 shot groups to date is .586" @150 yards. I was testing out the gun after I bought it using Wichester white box 45 gr. JHP's. I'll be getting the rest of my reloading gear tomorrow (hopefully) and I'll be loading up some 68 gr. Hornady m...

Yup, that was mine. :D I'm happier than a fat kid in a candy store! I'm totally addicted to the LR game. There's something about hitting playing cards @ 300 meters. Once I get my cam back, (I dropped it trying to get a pic of the reticule on the scope  ) I'll be posting a few more. BTW Hi5, wh...

OT, New Long Range Target Gun

I know alot of you like to shoot guns as well. This is my new Long Range (up to 1000 meters) setup. It a Savage 10 FPLE-1a in .223 with a Barska 8x32x50 Varmint scope with a mildot reticle. Amazing shooter. Anyone else in the LR game? Post 'em if ya got 'em! -Jason http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/...

For fixed broadheads I use a 24" square high density white foam block. I've had it for about 4 years and only wore down 3 sides. For field points I use a "yellowhammer" target. Took the punishment of a 2219 with a 125 grain tip out of a Paradox and yet the bolts came out pulling with ...

I've had the 100 gr. Montec's for 4 years now. Awesome broadhead, great penetration, razor sharp out of the package and fly better than mechanicals out of my Paradox.

Where are you from Mitchy? I might have a good one for you. I'm waiting to hear back from a few people today and tomorrow. If it's not spoken for I'll pm you.

Here's the link to the thread.

Hi TYE. You can use Krylon Fusion from Crappy Tire. Works pretty good. After you've painted your stock and limbs, give it a few coats of satin clear. It will protect the finish and really bring out the color.
