Re: Removing matrix limbs for storage
Removing the entire riser leaving the limbs attached to the riser is relatively easy to do and accomplishes almost the same thing as removing the limbs individually from the riser in terms of compacting the entire bow profile. There are just two bolts holding the riser/limb assembly onto the rail. R...

Re: Which one to buy??
I owned an Exomax for several years prior to buying the 380. To me the Exomax was w-i-d-e..Liked the bow but not its width. So I sold it and got a 380. You will not pry that 380 from my cold dead hands. Love everything about it. I did just purchase a 355 for my son and his two sons, my grandsons. Bu...

Re: Which one to buy??
To me I believe that if you buy he 355 you will always be wondering if you should have bought the 400 BD. If your hunting style or location is not affected by the slightly larger bow that the BD is then I guess I would just buy it and be done with it. The extra speed means a little flatter trajector...

Re: Excalibur 405 crossbow
Well Peters response is not surprising and its just another reason that I just purchased another Excalibur. Where else and from what other company will you get a company rep send a post assuring a customer that they will be taken care of and actually back it up? I worked in quality assurance for a m...

Re: zombie destruction
Do you have weighted inserts in these arrows? Would that break be near the end of that insert? I could see if the shaft is flexing (which it should) and the flex is right near the end of that weight that it would eventually stress the fibers in the arrow at that point and generate a weak area in the...

Re: My matrix 355 has to go.
Well since I'm the guy that purchased the 355 from Heyu (Randy) I just want to say that everything he said about the xbow and the accessories that came with it were right on. The communication with Randy was stellar and everything regarding the sale and transfer of the equipment went exactly as we p...

Re: exomax
Had an Exomax for several years. Sold it a few years ago and bought a 380 Matrix and I have never looked back. The Exomax was accurate, fast enough, and crazy dependable..never a problem but it was also wide and for me that was an issue. Hunting from a treestand was a lesson in contortion and walkin...

Re: Unable to remove 3/32 screws for Trigger Tech upgrade.
One of the methods above will work. Mine were very difficult to remove as well. Consider replacing the Allen head screws/bolts with Torx screws. I ordered stainless Torx for mine and even with blue loc-tite they are much easier to remove. If you replace the screws make sure they are no longer than t...

Re: What arrow weight do you prefer?
I use a 388 gr 2216 aluminum cut at 19 inchs out of my 380 Matrix. Thats total weight, arrow and 100 gr head of choice, I voted 400 gr which is actually the same arrow and head cut at 20 inchs. Chrono for 388gr setup is 378FPS.

Re: Matrix 350LE
I realize speed is not a big issue but I have heard the 350LE is getting better than posted speeds and your post indicates that may be true..However I would be curious to what kind of actual speed the 350LE gets off a chrono with a given arrow weight if anyone has actually chrono tested one. Looking...
