Re: Semi-Auto Shotguns

I own both a 1187 special purpose 3 inch and the 1187 super magnum. The magnum drops the geese dead with 3 1/2 shells where as the 3 inch will break bones. Those pesky honkers never stay put and will swim away from sound, so I like investing in the 3 1/2 shells. Bought a lug barrel for the magnum, s...

Re: Wheres the old timers?

Being retired does change your priorities!

Just not as much time spent on computer anymore.

Sounds odd?

Wait and see when your time comes.

Most hunting seasons I am never near any internet access so miss out on alot .

Re: Where have all the hunters gone?

In canada -"MY" opinion for the loss of interest in hunting and fishing, is the government suppressing all programs and education of our youth. They are not allowed to say the word hunt or gun without raising a flag or be branded corupt. When I attended an all male school , seems like a ce...

Re: Anyone from Michigan

Your bow needs to be in a case when travelling in any automobile when croosing the border!

That is it!

We hunt in Michigan, Deckerville to be exact; lots of deer and willing farmers almost always allow access.

Re: Deer Decoys?

We used decoys without any results; other than agrivating the squirrels!

They seemed to be pizzed off that something was in thier corn field.

Then we gave up hunting moose , because the decoy was too heavy to haul around!

Re: While Looking for Sheds

I must be as old as dirt!

I know these- The blue one is a '56 Chev, white wagon is a '59 Ford, White one is a '56 Desota, '55 Ford, 'Corvair upside down, model A rim!

Don't hold me to this but I wouldn't mind harvesting all of them .

This is always a great event to spend time at! I am going to get my buck scored - and show it off too! Twenty years almost to the day another brute appeared and this time the Excalibur was the tool used to harvest the Port Carling monster!!! Richard Reame of Tilbury mounted it- and perfect I might a...
