Meh, excal's are a high quality fairly simple bow can you imagine the issues that makers of more complicated and somewhat more questionable quality wheel bows have to deal with (or not)William Biggs wrote:Imagine the headaches Dawn and Peter get everyday!

If you mark the bolt heads with a dab of paint it makes it easy to tell if it has loosened

The way some folks respond to the word bolt on crossbow forums is like you said something rude about their mother

While we are on the subject, where u guys been ordering your quality sets of socket head Allen tools from. ? I think I'd rather have a set of those for all those loc tight screws Wiha,apex bondhus or ekland all make high quality hex keys any decent tool vendor should have at least one of these brands

An old mechanics trick is to heat up an allen key with a torch or flame then insert it into the stuck fastener to heat it enough to soften up the locktite Keep in mind that the allen key will likely loose its hardness and be junk after this Might just be a matter of putting the spring back in its pr...
