Re: I'm a newbie
Welcome aboard!
As much as I like shooting my firearms I like shooting bows even more. Sometimes the thought of having to clean my gun after shooting, especially one of my revolvers, will have me taking a pass and spending that time on some other activity.

Re: range finder
FYI. If you get a range finder with good glass in 6X instead of 4X you just might be able to leave your binos at home. One less thing to carry into the field.

Re: New to the Excalibur Forum
Welcome Brian!
Not sure I'm going to like you. A handful of deer in just one year? Man it takes me about a decade to do that!
Take care and visit often...

OK, so what might be the advantage(s) of a high level scope over the current offerings from Excalibur?

Re: Treestands verses Groundblind
My best guess is that here in the NE most hunters are most productive hunting from tree stands. I prefer hunting from the ground and have taken two deer that way. I started using a 2D decoy last season and believe it is what allowed me to make a lot of movement (very slow of course) in order to take...

+1
Have had maybe 3-4 transactions/dealings with Danny; always got more ( i.e. CB knowledge and information) than just the products I bought from him.

Mine also kept flying off the limbs so I stuck them elswhere. Don't know that having them on my Exocet makes a dimes worth of difference but I do think it looks kinda cool.

Re: Saturday 25% off all items at Poorfish
August of 2009 had the winning eBay bid on a nib Exocet 200. Got the CB, including shipping shipping, for about $350.00; Poor Fish was the seller. Item was received from Poor Fish on time and in perfect condition.

Welcome to the forum!
Thanks for sharing the hunt with us by video. That certainly is a very nice deer you got, congratulations.
BTW, what made that metal to metal sound at the shot?
Take care...

Re: Shocking Discovery With New Chronograph!
I guess I should have mentioned that my brace height on both bows is at the upper mark (the one closest to the trigger). Ah, then you've got a bit of brace height to play with. Why not drop it to the middle of the lines right off the bat and see what you get? Should tell you whether messing around ...

Re: need some help
If it was brace height issues wouldnt it shoot "LOW" at 45 yards{not high] My friend went through this same exact issue with his Relayer and it was "SCOPE"........Just saying!!! No, it should not. If the string creeps string gets longer and brace height decreases. String is with...

Re: Shocking Discovery With New Chronograph!
Frankly I'm hoping that backing off the STS does not make a dimes worth of difference. Man, could you imagine if it did? We'd all be out buying chronos in order to fine tune our CBs for that extra fps.
