A very sharp little minnie bush axe worked well for me, but like sax, mine has dissapeared too. I liked the lite weight and extra length when ole cotton mouth, or copperhead smiles at me.

try cleaning the vane(s) with alcohol or some other suitable solvent. if the glue is sticking to the shaft but not the vanes then the vane(s) may not be clean enough... worth a try anyway ,and good luck!

I would certainly try to get everything out asap. even if you do get it all out it may itch for weeks. Keep a close watch on it. Good luck, they are a fact of life down here. I get a few bites every year despite my best efforts to keep em off and killem.

Most non-hunters i meet are ok with someone else hunting for the meat...
these are not the ANTI-HUNTERS that think since they don't want to hunt that you and I shouldn't be allowed to ! Big difference in the two!

You can believe that the anti-hunting ,warm and fuzzy nature shows/videos are edited for blood and guts! When a lioness grabs a giraffe by the throat the video is cut until the little ones are getting a meal. No one gets to see the poor prey animal struggle for breath for 7 minutes before choking to...
