Well I'm back to trying the scope again. I went out to the stand this evening and we have 1/2 hour of hunting time after the sun sets. My problem is a glare on the rear (eye) glass end of the scope. This glare makes it real hard to see the reticles. Its actually worse after the sun had already set. So what I did was take my hand and wrapped it around the scope and then put my eye up to my hand thus blocking all the light between the scope and my eye and then I could see the reticles perfectly. I tried shading the other end of the scope and it made no difference at all. Ive google searched for a shade that is made for the front of the scope but couldnt find one. This is the only product that I could find that I thought might work...

Has anyone else found a way to eliminate and clear up this reflective glare on the scopes front eye lens ?

try using a camo cover on your scope, that will help.

One , you could use a peep sight . Two , you could set up so as no to be looking straight into the West . Three , you can use a empty toilet paper or others suitable tube a s a sun shade . The sun is reflecting off the clouds even after sun set just like it reflects off the clouds before sun rise . Setting up to look right into the East in the morning will also cause a problem . I'd watch the West in the morning and the East in the evenning .
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to have to do some more experimenting. I was actually facing the east and I noticed the problem after the sun had went down. The actual problem was not being able to clearly see the reticles after the sun had set. It was a clear sky and it was just before dark and almost 5 to 10 minutes before legal hunting time was over. This is what I believe I've heard other hunters complain about before when its around 10 minutes or so after/before hunting times(sunrise/sunset). I will try your suggestions next time. This problem is the main reason I took the scope off to begin with. My son seems to be having a hard time learning to get accurate with the peep sights. I noticed that I'm much more accurate with the scope as well. I love the scope and it has never failed me except for this one small problem that I hope to correct.
