Wooden stock wanted !

Post by Leo »

Saw a lot of wooden stocks for Excaliburs on this forum,
but where can I order them ?
I live in Austria - Europe and own 3 Excalibur X-bows.
For my Exomax a good wooden stock would be a great Xmas present :D

Mark posted this a while back. I have a laminate and a Tiger maple.

All the laminates cost $225.00 us + shipping
Walnut $350.00 us + shipping
Maple $500.00 us + shipping

I think the laminate is the best bang for the buck, and its a lot easier to find.

Takes anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks to do one depending on how many I have to do when you order......and how many honey doo`s I have to do from the boss. Everyone has been very patient with me on delivery...thanks I appreciate that!!!!!!

Mark made me a beautiful custom laminate stock in the spring. Since then he has made me a curly maple stock.
How many stocks can I use?
The stock is right hand laminate, fully finished and I believe desert camo colour.
This stock has never been installed or out of the house. It is brand new.

I will sell it for what it costs me $225 USD. Actually I am losing money because the Loonie has risen substantially in the last 6 months.

This stock is in west Toronto. No duty no tax etc

Looks like this

It is the colour ofthe 5th one down.
It is the shape of the 4th one down[/url]

Thanks for all the informations :D
The only problem I have to solve is payment !
I live in Austria-Europe and will pay for shipping but
I have Visa and Mastercard so this would be the easy
way to buy a wooden stock for my Excaliburs.
Does somebody accept them for a wooden stock ?
Or do you know a better way for the payment?

wooden stock payment

Post by arbalest »

I find PayPal to be convenient for buying/paying for items from folks in Europe. Just DON'T sign up for a "verified" PayPal account. I have a separate credit card with a $500 limit that I use for my PayPal account. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT get a verified account....this gives PayPal the right to withdraw funds from your savings account. A real problem if there is a dispute between you and the seller. Remember that PayPal is owned by eBay, and eBay is ALWAYS on the side of the seller.

I have a verified account, and fortunatley never had any problems. However, PayPal has never had any info on my bank account. Now as a further precaution, I just logged in and removed my credit card info as well.

My Paypal account is still verified, although I now don't have any means of making payments. Since I haven't purchased anything via PayPal in years, I figure if I ever need to use PayPal again, I can always re-enter my Visa info.

Do you think this is enough of a safeguard?

I don't doubt it, but if they ever were to use it, they'd be doing it illegally.
