I don't know what your friend paid for it, but tell him that he'll have a hard time trying to sell it for $500 US, since Archer's Nook is selling them for $450 US.

Not to mention that, earlier this week a couple of members of this forum each bought, a new in the box, Exocet 200 for $350 Cdn.

Sportsman's Den in Shelby Ohio has the Exocet 200 on sale for $ 419.00 U.S. If you live out of state you do not pay taxes. Most shop will ship for
$ 20.00 or less.
I have spent a lot of time on the internet the past week or so. It has not been very hard to find the Exocet 200 for $ 450.00 US shipped to your door. The problem I had was finding the Exomag 200.
I could not beleive the number of times I saw them advertised. I would call or email them. They always came back with the same thing we are out of stock now but we can order it for you. Then when you tell them Excalibur does not make the Exomag any more you could just tell they had that Deer in the headlight look, and then , hu, hu ,hu. Are you sure you want an Excalibur what about . That's as far as I let them go.
But thanks to Bad Shot ( I found one at $ 461.00 US. ) That cost inclueds shipping. This one is for my brother.
Our deer hunting is over the freezers are full for the year. Now we just look at each other and say only 300 more days till bow season. Is that sad or what. :( :(

You can also try selling it on eBay, since with auctions a lot of folks end up paying more than market value.

EXCALIBUR EXOCET FOR SALE!!

Post by gatorbait26 »

i don't know about how much cdn dollars relate to american dollars, but what about $450 american shipped (in the usa)...buyer pays shipping outside the usa...how does this sound...i think its pretty reasonable consider taxes and everything, but maybe i'm wrong :roll: ...thanks

p.s. if this is too high what would be decent price?

Archer's Nook sells it for $450 US, and there's no tax payable for purchases made from and shipped to the US.

That being the case, a US citizen buying your bow would save the shipping. Approx. $25-$30

For a Canadian, $450 US converts to approx. $525 plus shipping, as long as the Canadian Feds don't charge taxes and/or duties, a buyer would save approx. $20 plus taxes minus the shipping.

If someone figures that's enough of a savings, you'll get some offers.

EBAY EXOCET

Post by prairiewolf »

If you look in Ebay sold items you will find a new EXOCET 200 sold for $399.00 a week or two ago . I'm looking to buy one in that price range and after Christmas I may buy one for less . I mean what's the rush with hunting 9 and 1/2 month's away . Your friend should just enjoy the Exocet as it's a great bow and if he really doesn't want it he should bite the bullet and price it where it will get it done . There just has to be an incentive to buy your friends over someone elses other than Oh gee I'd like a redo . Anyone who's ever slung an errant arrow at a nice buck would probably like at least one redo . Live and learn .
