OT - The Opposite of Crossbow Hunting

Post by Jalinth »

Someone posted this link on one of the other forums I read, and I felt that I had to share. It is one of those things that is "so cool" and so VERY wrong.

http://www.buckstix.com/howitzer.htm

I think the URL just says it all.

With all the talk about banning handguns I don't think this will be very popular; I don't think we would have to register it though (Canada) because it is a muzzleloader. I would not use it for deer but if a fella could make goose loads...

I think I am with you on the  . I first got a good chuckle out of that but the more I think of it the more shocked I am that someone actualy did that. I think that idea is best discussed while out drinking with your buddies, but never actualy carried out!

Might be a good plan for late muzzleloader season if the freezer's empty
Got to check the MZ regs and see if they specify a single projectile, though. An 8# ball might do a lot of damage to the meat if they require a single projectile!

DITTO!! I wonder if when the deer were shot was the celebration a; "hahahahahaha did you see that. got him with 6 balls hahahahaha!!!!!"
You can take the man out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the man.

Well if you can't shoot one with a bow or crossbow, a shotgun or a rifle. You still might have a change at hitting one with a cannon. Sad really sad.
