Alabama hunting rules?

Guys, am going to south Alabama to hunt the last week of this month (when the season closes) and someone on this site mentioned that scopes on crossbows are illegal in Alabama. Is is true? I hope not because I've just gotten the Varizone scope mounted and really like it. Thanks.

No magnification sights or light projection (laser type). these sights are forbidden. But you can hunt deer and ferral pigs with a spear with out any sights.

You might look at red dots that don't magnify or just got with the post sights.

Man, I hate to think about pulling that Varizone scope off my bow, I just paid for it and got it sighted in and it's helping me to shoot really well. The Varizone is considered a magnification scope though isn't it? What power is it? Like 3 power or something like that?

Varizone is a 2 1/2 to 4 power scope as you turn the speed ring from 250 to 350 the powers increase.

Digger, my scope came already set at 350 and based on the website, that is the fps I'm shooting with a carbon shaft like it came with and a 100 grain point. I didn't even have to change that setting and it's on the money man. So set at 350, it's a 4 power scope, correct?
