Man you did great ! All look to be a pretty good size. What area of Alberta do live ? I lived in High River for a couple years, I loved that place .

Farmer, I live straight east of Red Deer, about 20 miles from the Ab. / Sask. border. High River is a very nice place...been many years isnce I've been there, though.

What do you do to prepare the hides for market, just salt them?

The coyotes are skinned, then fleshed completely, then dried hide out till tacky,...like below...

Then they are turned and boarded, fur out for about a week until they are dry. They are then ready for shipping to the fur auction. They do NOT want salted hides.

Allan, they aren't real stiff. I can take them by the nose and snap them a few times like you would a towel and the hair just jumps to life !
