Season opened the 6th here. I have one 11" Tom down so far with a 2 bird limt. I called in 2 other nice toms for friends which are hunting with compound bows they missed their birds. Its really been tough here the last week the Toms hened up and are not gobbling or coming to calls well very well. My honey hole at my farm is been the only sure place to see toms everyday. My two hunting lease's have lots of birds but they have been hard to find.

pphoenix,

Just a few words of advice. Don't over scout your turkey area where you plan to hunt, if you do you're gonna educate them and they'll start to avoid that area. A turkey has the memory of an elephant, they don't forget...

Tye,

Buddy, you gotta get your priorities straight. Hunting, work, then girlfriend. You can tell her work comes before her, because without a job, why would she still be with ya  .
