Mail from Grizzled!

Post by grizzled47 »

Hi Maple, and all you other guys out there!
Well. I am writing this on the Hopital ward computer in Moncton NB. I have been down here since Wednesday when Mary had her spinal operation! I am staying in the Hospital Motel.
I am very pleased to let you know that the op was a success, and all of the tumour was removed! the surgeon is happy with his work, and feels sure that it won't come back. Mary has all her movements intact, and is doing just fine now, after much much pain. The op was 3 hours long, and it was 5 hours before I got to see her, but she has improved greatly since the first night, and looks to be on the way to a good recovery. It will be some time before she will be starting any fires etc, but she is a tough lady and will soon be up and moving again!!
I want to thank everyone on this forum for all their prayers and good wishes, and we will be back in touch as soon as we get back home sometime next week. We see the surgeon on Monday, and I think he will let Mary go then, or the next day.
Thanks again to you all,
Grizzled.
If at first you don't succeed...try again!!
Grizzled.

Grizzled,

That's good news for sure!! Mary did her part, the doctor did his, and I'm sure you're doing yours. If you need help making chicken soup for her, gimme a call. We'll look forward to hearing how she's doing when she gets home.

Great news Grizzled,

Leeanne and I have been through an ordeal over the last two weeks with our little girl arriving 12 weeks early and Leeanne had to have an emergancy opperation to deliver her, but both are well and baby Bella is doing fine. Leeanne is back home and recovering well.
