Factory sight zeroing novice questions

What do you use for the typical zero for the factory Excalibur sights? Do most use 25 yards for the fiber optic center post? Just curious. I've been experimenting with zeros, the over and under posts, and in hold over/under using field points on my target.

I used 20 yards to start with due to most shots will be at 20 yards or less for me.
now I have the Varizone scope so that is the best. You sight the cross hair at 20 yards and move the target out to 40 yards and adjust the speed ring till the 40yard point hits bulls eyes and lock it down.

With the Vixen 20 yards was a good sight-in distance, but with the Phoenix I like 25 yards.

Don't forget when you are sighting in with the fibre optics you adjust the sight opposite of what you would do a for a rear mounted sight.
