fit around the limb tips

Post by The Butcher »

I just bought a new exocet 200, and I noticed where they fit the limb tips, it could be smoother. I thought about using epoxy, to smooth things out, but I know companies like Bohning, use a proprietory ingredient, where as if you were to used say dupont duco on bohining back dipped arrows, the fletch would bond. I did not know if excalibur did such a thing or not. It just seem like where they grinded or sawed the limb down to fit the tip, it is a little rough at the end of the tip pocket(the part that slipped over the limb to make the tip). Anyone else notice this? The bow shoots awsome. The trigger in it, is just like my max was, very crisp, no travel. My phoenix trigger is junk, with tons of travel. I think it will be taking a trip to Dan Miller after turkey season. I was supposed to send it in Jan, but just did not get around to it. Just wondered if anyone else had the same thing on the limb tips, that's all. Nothing major, just wondered. Butcher
