Alumni Inserts...Difficulty

Post by Hardy Buck »

I have about a bakers dozen bolts that are missing either the front/ back insert. I am having difficulty locating the appropriate sizes. My question is, do i have to order them direcr from excalibur ?

P.S. location - South Central Ontario

Call any Gold Tip dealer the P/N for the flat nock is #21260 and the P/N for the insert is # 54626 . Those inserts cost to much. I think you can buy the brass insert cheaper . You could get some 2216 inserts and turn them down a little and they will work also. You need to take about .010" off them.
There maybe another insert you can use. The OD on the insert needs to be about .299" . I have not found that yet. But if anyone has I would like to know.
