Dan Miller quivers

Post by htoler »

Can someone tell me how to contact Dan or possible post a pic of one of the quivers he makes for Excaliburs and tell me what you had to give for it?

Thanks

You can reach Dan at (740) 483-2312
Sorry I don't have a pic handy (my computer crashed last Friday and I don't have all the files on the new one yet).
I really like his quiver mount. I like to carry my crossbow slung on my back, and the quiver is out of the way with his mount. The quiver he sold me was a little squeaky, but I put a PSE quiver I had on it and it's fine now!

Here is a pic of the quiver mount. Dan recommends the Bohning Quivers with his mount, but an Excal quiver will work. I used both of them on mine.

The Bohning 4 arrow is a little nicer than the Excalibur quiver. It holds the bolts more securely. Another one to try is the 3 arrow Kwikee Kwiver.

Price is $8 for the mounting bracket plus $4 S&H. That was what I was quoted a 2 weeks ago.

Check out the video clip on the Excalibur website of Bill T on the elephant hunt. He has one of these mounts on the xbow he's using! (at least it looks like one of these).

They are twin stabilizers on the Vixen. I got them from Wayne Jones at Archery "Plus" in Huntsville, Ont.

do they help reduce the shock and sound any? Or do they just make the bow more stable when holding?
