Speeds For Exocet 200

Post by Farmer »

Just wondering what speeds anyone is getting with Exocet 200 and a 20 inch Beeman Thunderbolt with 100 grain point ? Shot mine with the Excel String 303 fps . Brace height is bang on the middle of the 2 lines on the rail.

Shot my friend same bow same arrow with a FFFlemish twist and the brace right to the max ( closest to the scope end ) and it shot 306.

They seem to be very consistent. Just wonder how other shoot.

My Excocet 200 did 318 fps ave. with Gold Tip Laser II's and 100 grain field points, using the standard excel string recently.

Don't know about the Beemans, never used them.

Farmer thats about right with beman thunder bolts as they are a little heavy compared to goldtips I do think, would have to weigh one of each to be sure. With my Exomag 200, FFF string, 2213's weighing in at 350 -352gr. 331 -332 fps. :D
Always learning!!

mine with 450gr bolts and old excel was doing only 283fps
with FFF string and 450gr bolts it shot 295-300fps
with the stock bolts and FFF string it shot 315average with a peak of 320fps

My buddies brand new exocet200 outta the box from 2 weeks ago shot 317fps with the new excel flemish string I believe and stock bolts

I believe maybe cause his is slightly newer and the limbs havent been under hardly any stress yet that his shoots a tad faster than mine.

but anyway, mine with stock bolts and the excel string was doing 298-302 so thats right with yours. Far from the 330fps untill you do all the tricks lol
