Ohh, by the way this is what were talking about:
http://cgi.ebay.com/CROSSBOW-EXCALIBUR- ... dZViewItem
Youll only end up paying more in the end.
Some of my thoughts:
*Arrows should be at least 18" long (Excal recommends 20") and 22/64" diameter is preferred by most. At least 350 grains weight (total with point installed), and with the Phoenix I'd stay under 400 grains to get decent velocity.
*A stringer is almost a necessity for someone inexperienced in stringing a crossbow. It can be done by hand, but the forward pitched limbs make it even more difficult.
*Some type of quiver to carry your arrows safely, but a hip quiver will work fine if you don't like a bow mounted quiver.
*The factory sights are fine, but a scope or red-dot is preferred by most shooters.
*I'd get some string wax, and keep the string and serving waxed.
*A sling makes carrying easier.
*A spare string is a good investment.

PHOENIX HELP
Thanks for the help. The right stuff package sounds like the
only way to go .Any arrow brandnames seem better than others
also broadheads. Do you Like carbon or aluminum arrows.
thanks guys

thanks guys
The right stuff package comes with Gold Tip II's (carbon) that shoot just fine. For broadheads, I shoot Thunderhead 100's. They require a slight adjustment up and left though. Alot of guys speak highly of the Montec's and Slicktricks, they require no readjustment from the fieldpoints. I'm partial to the Thunderheads, 45 bow kills (44 deer/1 bear) didn't know I had to readjust my POI 2 inches.

Like these guys have already said, The Right Stuff Package. I bought my package for $250 and am happy as can be.
It took four shots to set my bow up
I'm still in shock. First shot was 2" high at 10 yards dead center. Moved her down an inch and there I was.
The Package comes with six arrows, six field points, six broadheads, stringer, extra string, cocking aid, scope, mount, rings, wax. I'm proably forgetting something![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
