Tree Stand Brackets

Post by Harry Crabtree »

Guys I saw some metal brackets in a picture that you use to build tree stands but don't know where to get them. You bolt in a treated 4 x 4 in them at an angle for the 4 legs and then you bolt in a 2 x 6 (maybe it was a 2 x 4) at the top for your platform of your tree house. Sorry my description is not better. Anyone out there know where to get these tree stand brackets? Thanks.
I always get the last words at my house, "Yes Dear"

I saw a similar set-up in a magazine.Although the add I saw was for the plastic scent free stands that look like little ice huts. The bases were sold seperate and a person would add the 4x4 length of their choice for a desired height.

I just last week passed my mags. on to my Dad for reading and I'm going to guess it was in Bowhunter magazine.

Don't know about tree stand brackets, but a building supply dealer (lumber yard) might have something on hand for deck construction that may work.
