BLAZER Vanes
Has anyone tried the blazers on their bolts? If so, are they accurate?

I switched to 2215's this year and fletched them with the 2" Blazers. Accuracy is still great! With the GoldTips you will be very close to the minimum weight with the Blazers. I don't have the exact specs handy, but the Blazers weigh about 5 grains each. I believe regular 5" vanes are around 12-15 grains each? You'd be reducing the weight by 20 to 30 grains. One option would be to increase broadhed weight by 25 grains. You'd still be close to the same total weight, plus you'd increase FOC.

I have made up several dozen for customers and they love them .
they realy stabilize large heads for great flight and accuracy. As stated there is a weight problem ( light ) If you are useing alum. inserts use 125 grain heads, if you are useing the heavy brass colord inserts 100 grain heads are fine . they are much better than the QUICK SPINS and much quieter , GREYWOLF
