i'm going to say a buck due to the way the body looks.


you can really tell that summer is over when you see thier hair change..my wife said i go through the same change when deer season comes in.. :shock: .something about not staying at home as much :D :D
what you do for and too others will come back 10 fold.

I'm going to say it's a big doe. I do have a tag for either so if it was me I'd take shot as presented

Doe. Since you can see the eye and the ear in the picture. If that deer is 1.5 years old or better and it looks like it is; then there is a 3 inch space between the rear of the eye socket and the beginning of the ear. With a 1.5 year old with ears slightly laid back you should be able to see antler as the pedicle starts at about one and half inches behind the rear of the eye socket. True my eyes are not what they used to be but I do not see any antler between the rear of the eye socket and the ear. What does all this mean? It means good eating.

I'm going to jump on the doe band wagon. It may be a spike but the body looks more doe like.

Doe................but once in the crock pot you won't be able to tell the differance.

If it's brown it's down got 2 buck or doe tag so it really does not matter!!!
