First Excalibur Deer

Post by bjs »

I harvested a nice opening day doe taken from a distance of 12 yards. The slick trick broadhead resulted in a 45 yard track. Sweet Crossbow! This hunt will hopefully be one of many memorable experiences. The hunt continues - where I hunt I can take 3 more bonus does plus a buck. Thanks forum members for all your solid advice!

Thanks!
It was fun watching her before the shot. She stood on only her hind legs to reach up to a tree limb(food? scent??). Too Cool! She also chased a basket 8-point and another doe with a couple fawns out of the area.
She had some "rank"!
