string wax. this will also condition the string and help against the elements.

Unstring the xbow, un-twist string some, take some serving string or good braided fishing line, at the end of your serving after pushing it to gether insert a 4" peice of the braided line or serving line between your un-twisted string, make a couple wraps and tie off ....

Also need to state if you are using a ropeccoker or the crankAroo make sure the hooks are rounded off on the outer edges. Some of the older hooks are flat/sharp edges on the string side and will separate the serving after a couple of use's.
