Disipator Bars on a Carved-tip Exomag...WOW

Post by RyanB »

Well, I was at the bow shop today to zero in the new 2219's I got from them the other day and figured that seeing I was starting over as far as sighting in goes...I may as well try a set of Disipatar Bars out.

Talk about a difference in noise and vibration! they really took that loud twang out of the shot and alot of vibrations are gone too...should have done this along time ago!

How do the 2219`s shoot? I know they are on the heavier side. What size broadhead? I am curious as I may try them next spring!! Jack.

I am shooting 125gr's...just picked up some G5's today so I will see how they work! I like shooting the heavier arrows just for the harder hitting...just incase I hit a shoulder or something.

One other thing I like about them is the reduction in noise and my exomag still flings them at a good speed so I am happy!

We are on the total ends of the weight spectrum. I am shooting an Exocet using the right stuff pack stuff. The lightest shafts-inserts and broadheads. It shoots very well though, but I would like to try different combos to get a feel for how stuff flys :D Jack.

I believe that 2219's are a great arrow. Out of my Exomax I get groups under a inch at 20 yards, with a speed of 302 fps with a 100 gr. head. The only problem is with all that penetration, it is hard to find a broadhead target that will stop the arrow!
